The Model 300 Sweed scrap chopper that disposes your scrap strapping safely, quickly, and economically. The Model 300 is designed to install on several SWEED stands that can easily accommodate a variety of scrap collection containers. The Chopper simply slides from one hopper to another depending on scrap distribution. Hopper & Gaylord stand sold separately.

Just introduce the material (banding) into the infeed funnel. The feed works (pinch rolls) will then grab the material and pull it into the rotating knife path. The feed works will continue to pull at a rate of 109 feet per minute until the material is consumed or the operator releases the feed works via the release lever.

The following are materials commonly processed through the Model 300 “Little Bandit”.

• 3/4” x .031” steel banding with clip
• 5/8” x .030” plastic/poly straps
• 3/4” x .050” poly straps
