THE AUCLEAN CHAMBERED DOCTOR BLADE SYSTEM
The doctor blade is used on flexography presses, as well as coating and varnishing units. This product is supplied to original equipment manufacturers as well as retro-fitting to existing units. The system increases production speeds, raises printing and coating quality, and reduces volatilization of solvents. The Auclean chamber system is now an industry standard with many print operations because of its predictable and consistent operation.
After examining the advantages and disadvantages of the most popular chambered doctor blade systems worldwide, Auclean developed a chamber system that utilizes the slide block translation and a dual pivot turnover mechanism. Modification can be made to retro-fit the system to any press.
Auclean end-seals are suited for use with water-based ink, solvent based ink, water-based and UV cure varnishes, etc. With the help of industry experts, Auclean developed and tested the end-seals in actual field trials.
Auclean chambered doctor blade systems normally operate with a one inlet and two outlet re-circulating system. It is possible to use a non-pulse inking system to ensure at stable run.
